It seems like some people are bringing more than luggage on board these days—baggage of a very different kind.
From dramatic meltdowns to in-flight brawls, commercial flights lately have felt more like unscripted reality TV episodes.
And one recent flight from St. Petersburg to Sharm el-Sheikh turned into quite the spectacle.
The Unbelievable Business Class Rant
Onboard an Aeroflot flight, one woman made sure nobody missed her demands.
Insisting that she was in physical pain, she loudly declared—while clutching her chest—that she had pain in her “t*ts” and “butt,” and therefore deserved a business class upgrade.
Her outburst, delivered in broken English, was caught on video.
“I want business class!” she yelled with dramatic flair.
The cabin crew, however, didn’t budge.
They remained firm and calm, but the situation quickly escalated.
Things Got Physical Fast
As the woman’s tantrum reached a fever pitch, flight staff were left with no choice.
A burly male passenger was asked to assist.
She resisted being moved, shouting “No, no, get out!” as she was wrestled into her economy seat and restrained with the help of others on board.
According to reports shared by the Aviatorshchina Telegram channel, she had to be tied down and relocated to the back of the aircraft.
Upon landing, police were waiting. Her identity remains a mystery, and Aeroflot hasn’t commented publicly.
Ibiza-Bound Flight Descends Into Mayhem
This isn’t an isolated case.
Just a week before, a Jet2 flight headed to Ibiza from Birmingham experienced full-blown chaos—what witnesses dubbed the “flight from hell.”
After passengers were delayed for over two hours, the mood shifted.
One man, clad in a green outfit, allegedly downed an entire bottle of vodka in about 10 seconds.
From there, things spiraled: he was caught on camera screaming at flight attendants and even tossing clothing at fellow passengers.
TikTok user CJ Edwards described the whole ordeal, saying the flight felt like a party gone wrong.
“People were drinking, someone got slapped, someone was sick in the aisle… My friend had vomit on his shoe.” Security had to intervene to bring things under control.
A Meltdown Over a Seatmate’s Size
And if that wasn’t enough, just days before, another shocking episode unfolded on a Southwest Airlines flight departing from LaGuardia Airport, New York.
A 32-year-old woman became violently unhinged after realizing she’d be sitting next to another female passenger she insulted over her weight.
The scene turned ugly quickly—hair-pulling, spitting, and even kicking. It was all caught on video.
Flight attendants rushed in to de-escalate, but the woman refused to let go of her seatmate’s hair, even as staff pleaded with her.
She smirked, claiming she wasn’t touching anything, all while holding on with a tight grip.
Verbal Abuse Added Fuel to the Fire
Other passengers weren’t spared either.
One traveler who tried to calm her down got insulted for their looks and love life.
“She told me I was ugly and couldn’t get a man,” the traveler said.
“I told her I’ve been married for 20 years.”
Things got so heated that the woman even knocked glasses off one of the airline employees trying to intervene.
It was a disturbing end to what was supposed to be a normal cross-country trip to Kansas City.
So, What’s Next for Flying?
With an uptick in these types of unruly passenger incidents, it raises a big question: what’s really going on at 30,000 feet?
Airlines have tightened rules, and more passengers are being handed over to law enforcement.
But for the rest of us?
It might be wise to pack a little patience—and maybe noise-canceling headphones—for the journey ahead.
