Joshua Jackson reunites with Busy Philipps at charity summer party in Los Angeles as Dawson’s Creek stars catch up with smiles and style

It’s always a treat when former castmates from beloved shows reunite—and that’s exactly what happened in Los Angeles this past weekend.

Fans of Dawson’s Creek got a little dose of nostalgia when Joshua Jackson and Busy Philipps crossed paths again on the red carpet at a glitzy Hollywood event.

A Red Carpet Reunion That Had Fans Smiling

The reunion took place at The Aster during the Motion Picture and Television Foundation’s NextGen Annual Summer Party—a fundraising event dedicated to supporting both retired and working entertainment professionals with essential health and social services.

Jackson, best known as Dawson’s sarcastic best friend Pacey who had a whirlwind romance with Joey (Katie Holmes), looked genuinely happy to run into Philipps.

She played Audrey, Joey’s college roommate who quickly became part of the tight-knit friend group in the show’s later seasons.

Busy Turns Heads in White Lace and a Pop of Pink

Busy Philipps, now 45, made quite the entrance in a stylish white lace short suit.

The boxy jacket featured bold gold buttons, and the matching shorts showed off her toned legs.

She paired the outfit with bronze-toned pumps, dangling earrings, and a handful of rings.

But what really stood out was her freshly dyed baby pink hair, which happened to coordinate perfectly with Jackson’s look.

Joshua Jackson Keeps It Cool and Coordinated

Joshua Jackson, 47, matched her energy in a soft pink suit, a white T-shirt, and a pair of brown loafers.

He also sported a salt-and-pepper beard that gave his look a relaxed, sophisticated edge.

The two actors caught up on a sofa at the event, sharing laughs and reminiscing like old friends do.

Life Offscreen: Jackson’s Uncertain Career and Custody Drama

While Jackson seemed in good spirits, he’s currently facing some career and personal uncertainty.

His role as the ship’s doctor in Doctor Odyssey—a drama co-created by Ryan Murphy—is in limbo.

ABC hasn’t yet confirmed whether the show will be returning for another season.

Offscreen, things have also been complicated.

Jackson finalized his divorce from Jodie Turner-Smith in May, but tensions have continued, especially around co-parenting their 5-year-old daughter, Juno.

He recently went to court claiming that Turner-Smith enrolled their daughter in school without informing him.

Busy’s Got a Full Plate With Her Talk Show and Motherhood

As for Busy, she’s been keeping busy (no pun intended) with her latest project: a late-night talk show called Busy This Week, which airs on QVC and HSN.

The Girls5Eva actress is also a hands-on mom to two daughters—Birdie, 16, and Cricket, who’s almost 12—whom she shares with her ex-husband, screenwriter Marc Silverstein.
