Another tragic incident has shaken Chicago’s Near West Side, where a routine early morning turned deadly in a matter of seconds.

According to information reaching TDPel Media, the fatal shooting took place around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday along the 2300 block of West Roosevelt Road, near the Tri-Taylor neighborhood.

A group of three—two men and a woman—were standing on the sidewalk when an SUV pulled up and three armed individuals jumped out and opened fire.

Two Victims Killed, One Injured

Of the three victims, a 23-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were shot multiple times and rushed to a hospital by Chicago Fire Department personnel.

Sadly, both were pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The third victim, a 25-year-old man, was shot in the ankle.

Fortunately, he managed to take himself to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in good condition.
