Sometimes, all you need is a bag of crisps, a best friend, and a sense of humour.
Holly Willoughby and Christine Lampard recently had fans cracking up after Holly posted a hilarious throwback from one of their carefree girls’ nights.
The snap, shared on Instagram Friday, shows the two TV favourites in a full-on silly moment—posing with crisps in their mouths like makeshift vampire fangs.
Holly, 44, and Christine, 46, looked radiant and makeup-free, clearly enjoying themselves.
“About last night… found this on the roll… how do you eat your crisps? @christinelampard #fangtastic,” Holly captioned the playful photo.
Fans couldn’t get enough. The comments section lit up with messages like, “I just love you two,” and “So many questions and not enough answers—I fear it was a hilarious night!”
Longtime Friends Supporting Each Other Through Ups and Downs
These two aren’t just partners in laughter. Christine was by Holly’s side earlier this year when Dancing On Ice was cancelled, leaving Holly without a prime-time ITV gig for the first time in over two decades.
To cheer her up, the pair soaked up the sunshine with a glass of rosé in hand, snapping a sweet selfie together.
Holly looked effortlessly chic in black sunglasses and a navy padded jacket, while Christine matched her cool vibe with her own shades and a grey coat.
“Rosé kinda Day,” Holly wrote in the caption, giving fans a glimpse into their close friendship and unwavering support for one another.
Holly’s New Look Has Fans Doing a Double Take
Just a day before the throwback photo, Holly surprised fans with a bold new look.
She posted a car selfie featuring oversized black glasses and a breezy yellow-and-white striped shirt.
It was a far cry from her usual on-screen glam—and fans loved it.
In true mum-humour fashion, she joked in the caption: “Any other mum/dads of 16-year-olds/post-GCSE kids suddenly find themselves promoted to personal party driver? Mums Mini Cabs.
Oh, and yes, I’m now a glasses wearer… game changer!”
Opening Up About Dyslexia and School Struggles
Beyond the laughs and the glam, Holly also recently spoke candidly about her struggles with dyslexia during a segment on Jamie Oliver’s Dyslexia Revolution documentary.
She shared how difficult school was, despite working incredibly hard.
“I always got poor results in spelling tests and came back with red pen all over my homework,” she recalled.
That experience, she explained, made her feel different.
“I felt like I was working really, really hard but not getting results… so I felt different.”
She also opened up about how traditional education systems aren’t designed for every learning style, saying, “When you write yourself off at school as being non-academic, that does shape your future.”
Holly’s Late Diagnosis and Owning Her Identity
Holly shared that she was diagnosed with dyslexia later in life, but instead of seeing it as a setback, she views it as a unique strength.
She previously said that she owes a lot to the supportive teachers who helped her manage it in school.
In a This Morning segment from 2022, she said, “I don’t see it as a disability.
I’m proud of being dyslexic—it makes me who I am.”
She had that conversation with none other than Sir Richard Branson, who also has dyslexia and echoed similar sentiments.
Sir Richard added that leaving school at 15 was the best thing for him, as it allowed him to channel his dyslexic thinking into areas he truly loved.
And Holly agreed, saying her dyslexia may be the reason she’s good at so many of the things she excels at now.
