Diddy’s defense team is back in action, making a strong push to have his ongoing trial dismissed.
This latest move comes after shocking testimony from fashion designer Bryana Bongolan, who accused the rap mogul of a terrifying incident where he allegedly dangled her off a balcony 17 stories high.
The drama unfolded once again in court as his lawyers challenged the credibility of that claim.
What Happened According to Bryana Bongolan
Bongolan, who is a friend of Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, testified that the rapper forcefully grabbed her and held her precariously over the edge of a high balcony at Cassie’s Los Angeles apartment in 2016.
She also described being thrown into furniture afterward, showing photos of bruises and neck injuries as proof of the attack.
However, Diddy’s legal team immediately fired back.
They pointed out that those injury photos were dated September 26, 2016 — a day when Diddy’s alibi places him on the East Coast, far from the scene.
Prosecutors later clarified that the alleged balcony incident happened a few days later, around September 29 or 30.
Defense Challenges the Witness Credibility
Adding fuel to their argument, Diddy’s lawyers presented text messages between Cassie and one of Diddy’s employees suggesting Cassie didn’t witness the event herself.
One text from Cassie said, “I just found out some crazy s***,” hinting she heard about the incident secondhand, not from her own eyes.
The defense is using this to claim the prosecution knowingly allowed false testimony, which could undermine the entire case.
Details Behind the $10 Million Lawsuit
The lawsuit from Bongolan, filed last year, accuses Diddy of sexual battery and physical abuse stemming from that night in 2016.
She alleges he molested her after force-feeding her ecstasy during one of his notorious “freak off” parties, calling himself “the mother******g devil” and threatening her life during a photoshoot.
The complaint says that Bongolan and her then-girlfriend were asleep in Cassie’s apartment when an intoxicated Diddy allegedly burst in, banging violently on the door.
When she tried to hide on the balcony, Diddy reportedly grabbed her roughly and groped her as she fought him off.
Cassie Ventura’s Role in the Incident
Cassie, who testified last week, described hearing the commotion and coming out of her locked room to confront Diddy.
She reportedly screamed for him to stop as the violence escalated, with Diddy allegedly slamming Bongolan into balcony furniture.
Despite this, Diddy has denied everything and maintains the incident never happened.
