Things got heated at a Christmas party in Nantucket this past December, with Bill Belichick’s ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday reportedly confronting Jordon Hudson — the coach’s current girlfriend — in a tense showdown.
According to a report filed by staff at the venue Dreamland, the mood quickly soured as emotions ran high during what was supposed to be a festive celebration.
The Spark: Linda Holliday Upset Over Jordon Hudson’s Presence
Linda Holliday, who was with Bill Belichick for 16 years before their split in September 2023, was reportedly furious to see Hudson at the December 6 party.
The event was hosted by Holliday’s twin daughters, Ashley and Kat Hess, who were the DJs for the night.
Staff say Holliday felt Hudson’s attendance was inappropriate, given it was “widely advertised” as her daughters’ party.
At around 9:30 PM, Holliday approached staff, insisting that Hudson be removed from the party.
But things escalated quickly when Holliday and her friends, including New York Times bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand, were seen approaching Hudson on the dance floor with what was described as “threatening body language and escalating aggression.”
Thankfully, they backed off before the situation got out of control.
Hudson Defends Herself Amidst Rising Hostility
When asked by staff if she thought staying at the party was a good idea, Hudson stood her ground.
She explained it was her first time attending the Nantucket Christmas Stroll and that she simply wanted to join the “big party” hosted by the Hess twins.
Hudson emphasized she wasn’t looking to cause trouble — she was just there to have a good time with her friend Melissa Sapini, the previous year’s Miss Massachusetts.
Threats and Tears by the Exit
As the party was winding down, Hudson agreed to leave — but only if a staff member accompanied her and Sapini to the exit.
At that point, Hudson told the employee that Holliday had threatened Sapini during the confrontation on the dance floor.
Apparently, Holliday warned Sapini that if she valued her pageant title, she should reconsider who she associated with, hinting at powerful friends within the pageant world.
Sapini reportedly didn’t say much but was visibly upset, frequently wiping away tears as the situation unfolded.
Holliday Explains Her Side as the “Momma Bear”
After the party ended, staff caught up with Holliday, who explained her fierce reaction.
“If this didn’t involve my girls, I don’t think this would have bothered me as much, but because it did, the ‘momma bear’ in me came out,” she said.
The venue Dreamland confirmed to TMZ that despite the tension, no police or security intervention was needed.
Hudson Faces Social Rejection on Nantucket
This awkward encounter comes just a day after reports revealed Hudson has been “iced out” by Nantucket’s social elite, who remain firmly loyal to Holliday.
The island’s close-knit and exclusive social and charity circles haven’t welcomed Hudson with open arms.
One insider shared that Hudson’s attempts to insert herself into Nantucket’s established social scene have been met with skepticism.
“She’s trying to claim her stake in the social circle. That is Linda’s thing,” they said.
Others noted the cliquey nature of Nantucket’s elite. “If Hudson walked into a popular local restaurant, most people would just roll their eyes,” a source explained.
“They only invite people who fit in with their charity work and social activities, and Hudson hasn’t made the cut.”
Questions Surrounding Hudson’s Relationship with Belichick
Hudson has recently come under fire amid swirling rumors about her relationship with the legendary NFL coach, who recently took over as head coach of the UNC Tar Heels.
Critics have targeted her influence on Belichick, with some expressing concern she could disrupt his personal and professional life.
This backlash intensified after Belichick’s awkward CBS interview where Hudson off-camera cut off questions about how they met — sparking further speculation about their relationship dynamics.
Family and Friends Worried About Belichick’s Future
Reports suggest that those close to Belichick are growing wary of Hudson’s presence in his life.
There are fears she could unravel the reputation and legacy the coach has spent decades building, leading to increased scrutiny and tension behind the scenes.
