Sometimes, neighborhood disagreements escalate in ways no one expects — and that’s exactly what happened in a quiet village in Cambridgeshire.
Daniel Hill, a reality TV personality from Storage Hunters known as “Dapper Dan,” found himself in serious trouble after a confrontation over a patch of land turned frightening.
The Incident Caught on Camera
Back in March 2024, CCTV footage captured a shocking moment on Badcock Road in Haslingfield.
Hill was seen driving his BMW directly toward a woman in her seventies.
He appeared to speed up, then slammed on the brakes, stopping the car just inches from her.
The terrifying encounter was part of a long-running dispute over land ownership.
Legal Consequences Follow
Fast forward to May 6, 2025, when Daniel Hill faced the Cambridge Magistrates’ Court.
He was found guilty of driving without due care and attention and handed a £660 fine along with nine penalty points on his driving licence.
A local police officer commented that Hill’s driving was “far below that of a reasonable and competent driver” and warned how fortunate it was that the elderly woman was unharmed.
The Roots of the Dispute: Buying Land in Haslingfield
The conflict started after Hill bought a plot of land on Badcock Road in November 2023.
