Picture a sunny Mother’s Day morning in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles—packages arriving, families celebrating, and then… someone answering the call of nature on your porch.
That’s exactly what local homeowners discovered on their home security cameras.
Caught on Camera
Home surveillance footage shows an Amazon delivery driver stepping out of their vehicle and, rather than racing for a restroom, defecating on a customer’s stairway before nonchalantly pulling up their pants.
In a separate clip, the same driver relieves herself inside a neighbor’s gated entryway—complete with a glance straight at the camera.
Amazon’s Swift Reaction
Unsurprisingly, Amazon was appalled. The company immediately identified the driver, removed her from all delivery duties, and reached out to the affected homeowners with apologies and offers to cover any cleanup costs.
“We’re deeply disturbed by this unacceptable behavior,” a spokesperson stated. “This driver no longer delivers for Amazon.”
Community Outrage
Residents and social media users alike have expressed disbelief and anger. Many point out that while bathroom emergencies happen, this level of unprofessional conduct—especially on someone else’s property—is inexcusable.
A Wake-Up Call on Third-Party Standards
These incidents highlight the challenges in overseeing third-party contractors.
When a delivery driver’s actions reflect poorly on major brands, it underscores the need for rigorous vetting and training to maintain basic customer-service standards.
