Olivia Dunne joins Sports Illustrated stars and throws first pitch at Citi Field while cheering on boyfriend Paul Skenes in New York City game

Livvy Dunne may usually be found cheering from the stands, but this time, she took center stage at Citi Field.

On a breezy Monday evening in New York City, the LSU gymnast-turned-influencer stepped onto the field for a special appearance—right before her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Mets.

It’s not her first time at a ballpark—she’s become something of a regular at PNC Park, home of the Pirates.

But this night was something new. Dunne wasn’t just watching; she was part of the moment.

A Sports Illustrated Girl Gang Shows Up in Style

Dunne didn’t come alone for this fun night under the lights.

She was joined by three fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit stars—Camille Kostek, Xandra Pohl, and Ellie Thumann.

The trio looked game-day ready, rocking personalized Mets jerseys and posing for photos with players like Mark Vientos, Tyrone Taylor, and Huascar Brazoban.

While Dunne stayed a bit more low-key in a classic white tee and baseball cap—likely out of loyalty to Skenes and the Pirates—she did snap a quick selfie with the other models while standing on the field.

Later, she was seen filming from a luxury suite, soaking in the New York night with her signature relaxed glam.

From Modeling to Music and Social Media Stardom

This wasn’t just a group of swimsuit models—they’re all heavy-hitters in their own right.

Kostek, a longtime Sports Illustrated favorite, first made headlines in 2017 and even graced the cover in 2019.

She’s also no stranger to the sports world, having been in a longtime relationship with NFL legend Rob Gronkowski.

Pohl and Thumann both carved out unique paths before landing modeling gigs.

Pohl is an international DJ who’s built a name behind the decks, while Thumann has millions of followers thanks to her viral content on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Paul Skenes Holds His Ground but Pirates Fall Short

While Dunne enjoyed the night with friends, it was a tough outing for her boyfriend Paul Skenes.

He held strong on the mound—allowing just one earned run over six innings and striking out six—but the Pirates bullpen couldn’t seal the deal.

Relievers gave up two runs in the seventh, dashing Skenes’ shot at a win.

Though the Pirates tied things up in the ninth after Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor’s error led to a run by Ji-Hwan Bae, the game slipped away shortly after.

Costly Errors and a Sacrifice Fly Seal the Game for the Mets

It came down to a costly mistake from Pirates shortstop Isaiah Kiner-Falefa, whose error let Lindor get on base again in the bottom of the ninth.

A Juan Soto single advanced Lindor to third, and from there, Pete Alonso stepped up and delivered the walk-off sacrifice fly that sealed the Mets’ 4–3 win.

The final stat line gave Brazoban the win and David Bednar the loss.

A Tough Standings Gap Between the Pirates and the Mets

The loss leaves the Pirates struggling to keep pace in the NL Central—they’re now 10 games behind.

Meanwhile, the Mets are cruising in the NL East, leading the division by two and a half games with a strong 27–15 record.

Despite the scoreboard, it was a night to remember for Olivia Dunne, who once again proved she knows how to shine—whether it’s flipping on a mat, posing on a beach, or standing tall at a ballpark.
