Katie Price, the former glamour model and reality TV personality, has shared her ongoing efforts to expand her family, revealing she has arranged for donor eggs that match her physical traits and has even found a sperm donor to help her in her pursuit of becoming a mother for the sixth time.
IVF Journey and Setbacks
Katie, now 46, experienced a challenging IVF journey in 2023 with her former partner Carl Woods, but unfortunately, it ended in failure.
Despite the heartache, Katie remains determined to pursue her dream of adding another child to her family.
Speaking on the We Need To Talk podcast with Paul C Brunson, she opened up about her plans and the steps she’s taken to ensure she can still achieve her goal.
Donor Eggs and Sperm Plans
Price explained that last year, she obtained donor eggs, carefully selecting ones that resemble her appearance, including traits like dark hair and green eyes, which are linked to her Italian/Spanish heritage.
Katie also revealed that she had lined up a sperm donor from the U.S. with Black heritage, a decision she made before meeting her current boyfriend, JJ Slater, 32.
Katie hinted that while her sperm donor is already arranged, she would remain open to the idea of having a child with JJ if they both decided they wanted one.
However, she made it clear that their child would not share her biological traits, as she intends to use the donor’s sperm instead of her own.
She also emphasized that her eggs would not be used for any future children with a partner, meaning only her five existing children carry her genetic legacy.
Katie’s Journey to Motherhood
Price, who is in her pre-menopausal years, was surprised to discover that she is still able to carry a child despite being told her chances were slim.
She revealed she has everything prepared for when she’s ready, including donor eggs and sperm, though she is not in any rush to have another baby or get married
