Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders program invites young changemakers from across the Atlantic to Rabat Morocco for a fully funded leadership week

If you’re a young professional looking to expand your impact and connect with other rising changemakers, the Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) program might be the perfect opportunity for you.

It’s not just another leadership workshop—it’s a week-long, fully funded experience that blends action, global conversation, and growth with a vibrant international network.

Held in Rabat, Morocco, from December 7 to 11, 2025, this program gives you the tools and platform to sharpen your leadership skills and dive deep into important global issues—especially those affecting the Atlantic region.

What Is ADEL All About?

ADEL is the signature leadership initiative of the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS).

Since launching in 2012, it has brought together over 40 exceptional young professionals each year from across Africa, the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean—all countries that border the Atlantic Ocean.

And the experience doesn’t end after five days.

Once the ADEL training wraps up, participants get full access to the Atlantic Dialogues Conference from December 11 to 13, 2025.

This annual event gathers global movers and shakers—policymakers, experts, innovators—for bold, informal conversations about shared challenges and solutions.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to young professionals aged 25–35 (as of May 7, 2025) who are eager to lead, innovate, and collaborate across cultures. To apply, you should:

  • Be from or living in a country in the Atlantic Basin (Africa, the Americas, Europe, or the Caribbean)

  • Speak and understand English fluently

  • Be available for the entire program period: December 7–13, 2025

  • Show a strong track record of leadership or impact in your field

  • Be committed to making a difference in your community, workplace, or society

  • Be excited to learn from others and contribute to a diverse, global network

  2. A personal statement (250 words max) sharing your thoughts on today’s leadership challenges and your role in addressing them in the Atlantic space

  3. A one-minute private YouTube video, answering:

    • Who are you and what do you do?

    • What motivates your work and its impact?

    • Why are you interested in joining ADEL?

    • How would you contribute to—and benefit from—the program?
