Arabella Chi confirms she will show her baby girl on Instagram as she prepares to give birth in London just weeks before her due date

With just a few weeks left until she welcomes her first child, Arabella Chi is embracing the whirlwind of emotions, decisions, and preparations that come with becoming a first-time mum.

The former Love Island star, now 34, recently gave fans a personal update on how she’s feeling as her due date quickly approaches—and she didn’t hold back on the reality of the journey, the tough bits included.

Tired But Excited as the Finish Line Nears

Arabella attended a springtime brunch hosted by Carmex at London’s Somerset House this week, where she chatted about how the final stretch of her pregnancy is treating her.

“Pregnancy has been fine, but it’s getting tougher now at the end,” she admitted.

“It’s the tiredness, and she’s heavy. I’m ready now.”

With the due date set for May, Arabella and her boyfriend Billy Henty—whom she met during the Love Island: All Stars series—are counting down the days until they meet their baby girl.

Her Baby Will Make an Appearance on Social Media

In a time when many celebrities choose to keep their children’s lives offline, Arabella revealed that she and Billy have decided to share glimpses of their daughter on social media.

“We’ve talked about it, and we’re on the same page,” she said.

“My life has always been very open online, and she’s going to be my little princess—I want to show her.”

The couple has even chosen a name already, although they’re saving that surprise for after the birth.

A Year of Big Transitions for Arabella and Billy

On top of preparing for parenthood, Arabella and Billy are also navigating other major life changes.

They’re planning to move from their flat into a new house later this summer, and Billy is starting a new job just a week after the baby arrives.

While that timing might sound chaotic, Arabella is staying positive.

“You can’t always plan life perfectly,” she said with a smile.

“Everyone says guys aren’t much help in the early days anyway, so he can focus on work and be there for me in the evenings.

I’ll have friends and family around during the day.”

Becoming Grandparents for the First Time

Arabella’s parents are also in for a big moment—becoming grandparents for the first time.

She shared that she’s bracing herself for the emotions that will come when her mum holds her granddaughter.

“I’ll probably be crying hysterically seeing my mum with her first granddaughter,” she said, clearly moved by the thought.

Balancing Business and Baby

Even with a baby on the way, Arabella is still managing her growing skincare brand, Aura, which launched in 2024. But she admits the juggle has been tough.

“I’m trying to keep the momentum up,” she said. “But I also know I need to start winding down.

I just don’t know when to stop! My diary’s full right up until I give birth, but I’m not overdoing it—I promise.”

A Pregnancy That Feels Extra Special

For Arabella, this pregnancy holds even more meaning because of her personal health journey.

She’s been open about her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a condition that can make conceiving more difficult.

“When I found out I was pregnant, it felt magical,” she shared in a previous interview.

“With my PCOS, I don’t know if I’ll be able to have more children—so she’s extra special.”

From Reality Star to Mum-to-Be

Arabella first appeared on Love Island back in 2015, where her short stint as a bombshell still left a mark.

Over the years, she made headlines for a few public romances, including a brief spark with Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias in early 2024.

But it wasn’t until her return to the villa for All Stars that she crossed paths with Billy, a businessman in regenerative medicine.

Their relationship blossomed quickly, and by October last year, they were publicly together—and planning a future as a family.

“I Feel So Lucky to Have Found My Forever Partner”

Reflecting on how fast life has changed, Arabella said, “I can’t believe that a year and three months ago I was in the Love Island villa.

Now I’m about to become a mum. I feel so lucky to have found my forever partner.”

Billy echoed her feelings, saying, “I can’t wait to be a girl dad.

It’s life-changing. It’s my own little family. Arabella’s amazing—she’s got a heart of gold.”

What’s Next?

With her baby girl due any day now, Arabella is soaking up the final days before everything changes.

From newborn cuddles to sleepless nights and Instagram baby pics, a whole new chapter is about to begin.

And judging by how open and ready she is for it all, motherhood is going to suit Arabella Chi just fine.
