Buhle Samuels, the well-known former Muvhango actress, is currently at the center of a major controversy.

Fraud allegations have surfaced against her after she was accused of using forged documents to obtain a luxury car, a sleek Porsche SUV.

The vehicle, which she had shared on social media as a birthday gift to herself, is now under scrutiny.

The Allegations and Court Appearance

On Wednesday, Samuels appeared before the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court to address the charges against her.

The court proceedings revealed that the actress allegedly falsified signatures and fabricated corporate paperwork to secure the expensive car.

The Porsche SUV was initially posted on her social media account in August 2024, with a caption that read, “An early birthday gift.

From me to me.” Fans who saw the post were under the impression that the vehicle was a personal purchase made by the actress.

However, authorities have seized the car as evidence as the investigation unfolds.

Legal Matter and Samuels’ Response

Despite the serious allegations, Samuels has publicly denied the accusations.

In an interview with the popular gossip page Maphephandaba, she addressed the matter, asserting that the claims against her were entirely false.

She emphasized that the case was ongoing in court, which limited her ability to provide further details.

Samuels also warned those spreading rumors about her to cease, stating, “It’s a legal matter, so I cannot get into the nitty-gritty currently.

What I can categorically state is that the accusations are very false, and legal action will be taken against anyone who endorses these falsehoods.”

She further urged the public to refrain from speculating, assuring that “the truth will reveal itself in due course.”
