In a chilling turn of events, Gabriel Olds, a 52-year-old actor known for roles in Law & Order and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, is facing multiple serious allegations from a growing list of women who claim they were victims of sexual violence during their encounters with him.
These accusations span over a decade, with 12 felony charges including rape, sodomy, and assault.
A Complex and Disturbing Case
Olds’ case is already proving to be one of the most complicated and disturbing cases the Los Angeles Police Department’s Special Assault Section has encountered.
According to Det. Brent Hopkins, while Olds is well-liked and charming, his alleged behavior has crossed serious lines that involve non-consensual violent sexual acts.
Hopkins explains that many of the women involved in the case did not speak up at the time, believing their experiences were isolated, only to later realize they were not alone.
Letters of Support and Dismay

One woman even described him as a “gentle ass slapper,” adding that she told him to “go harder.”

When she asked him to stop, he didn’t, and she later blacked out.
She described waking up to being slapped to regain consciousness.
This disturbing incident prompted her to take legal action and set up a Facebook page called “Are We Dating the Same Guy?” which led several other women to share their own experiences of being strangled and manipulated by Olds.
Despite the growing number of accusers, Olds’ defense team, led by attorney Leonard Levine, claims that these women were all participants in consensual acts and that the accusations were the result of a “campaign” of misinformation initiated by one of the victims.
A Unique and Ongoing Investigation

Detective Hopkins stresses that Olds’ behavior was unusual in that it involved a public figure, spanning a period of over ten years, and also involved acts of violence that were not consensual.
Olds’ defense insists that the women had agreed to such acts as part of erotic asphyxiation or other kink activities.
However, Hopkins and other experts point out that if consent was not properly established or if it was violated during these encounters, then it becomes a criminal matter.
Olds Faces Severe Legal Consequences
Olds is currently being held in custody on a $3.5 million bail, with the possibility of facing 93 years to life in prison if convicted of the charges against him.
The actor, who once starred in various TV shows and films, now awaits trial as the case continues to develop.
