The Big Match: Arsenal vs Chelsea

This weekend, we’re in for a treat with a thrilling Premier League showdown between Arsenal and Chelsea.

As one of the most anticipated matchups of the weekend, it’s bound to have plenty of drama.

Yesterday, we asked you to name the Chelsea side that endured an eight-goal thriller defeat to Arsenal.

Today, we’ve got another challenge for you: can you name the Arsenal team that fell to Chelsea in 2009?

Chelsea’s Dominance in 2009

Back in 2009, Chelsea was on fire, sitting comfortably at the top of the Premier League.

They took their lead to a solid 11 points after a convincing 3-0 victory over Arsenal, and the season was only just halfway through! Now, your task is to recall the Arsenal team that Arsène Wenger fielded that day. It’s not as easy as it sounds!

Ready to Play?

Teamsheet is all about having fun, so don’t stress too much about getting every player right.

Challenge yourself, compare your score with your mates, and see how well you know your football history.

The full instructions on how to play can be found at the bottom of this article, and of course, within the game itself.

Plus, remember, you can pick any team and guess their starting XI—so there’s plenty of room to get creative!

Good luck, and may the best football brain win!

How to Play

The goal of Teamsheet is simple: score as few points as possible!

Here’s how it works:

  • For each player, you have six guesses.
  • If you correctly guess a player on your first try, you score just 1 point. The lowest possible score for guessing all players correctly on the first try is 11.
  • A correct letter in the right position turns green, while a correct letter in the wrong position turns yellow.
  • If you can’t guess the player within six attempts, we’ll reveal their identity and you’ll get 11 points.
  • You can also ask for a free letter, but be careful—it costs you a point.

The aim is to get the lowest score possible, so let’s see if you can reach that perfect score of 11 or if you’ll be stuck on 121 after missing every player!
