The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) has launched a new opportunity aimed at empowering youth-led organizations across South Africa.

Through its flagship program, the National Youth Service Programme (NYS), the NYDA will engage ninety (90) organizations over the next ten months.

These organizations will be enrolled in a capacity-building initiative designed to enhance their ability to implement social impact projects.

Program Overview and Objectives

The NYS will target youth-led organizations from all nine provinces, enrolling 10 organizations per province.

During the 10-month program, qualifying organizations will undergo a comprehensive induction process. They will be guided on NYS norms, standards, and equipped with tools and templates to help them design impactful projects.

These projects will focus on areas like social cohesion, nation-building, patriotism, active citizenship, and volunteerism.

The NYDA will work with key stakeholders to improve the delivery of the program, ensuring that governance and compliance issues are properly addressed.
