Elon Musk, the South African-born billionaire, has recently welcomed his fourth child with Shivon Zilis, a Neuralink executive.
The announcement came on February 28, adding to the growing family of Musk’s children.
This new addition could potentially be Musk’s 14th child.
A Heartfelt Announcement From Shivon Zilis
Shivon Zilis took to Twitter to share the news of their new son’s arrival.
She explained that the timing of the announcement was particularly special because it coincided with their daughter Arcadia’s first birthday.
Zilis shared that, along with Elon, they felt it was the right moment to also announce the birth of their son, Seldon Lycurgus.
Zilis described their son as “built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold,” and expressed how much she loved him.
Musk and Zilis already have twins, Strider and Azure, and now with Seldon’s arrival, their growing family is even more complete.
The Growing Musk Family
Musk’s family has grown quite large over the years. With his ex-wife Justine Musk, he had six children.
However, their first child, Nevada Alexander, tragically passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at just 10 weeks old.
Later, they welcomed twins Griffin and Xavier in 2004, and the couple also had triplets—Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
Musk has also had children with other partners, including Canadian singer Grimes.
Together, they have a son named X AE A-XII, affectionately known as “baby X,” born in May 2020.
They also have a daughter, Y (formerly Exa Dark Sideræl), and a son named Techno Mechanicus, also called Tau.
Recent Controversy Surrounding Musk’s Fatherhood
In addition to his children with Zilis, Musk’s fatherhood has been making headlines recently due to a claim from columnist Ashley St. Clair, who stated she had a child with Musk, making him a father of 13.
Although Musk has neither confirmed nor denied the paternity, St. Clair filed a paternity suit and even shared a photo of Musk with the baby in court documents.
The Musk Family’s Future
Now, with the arrival of Seldon Lycurgus, Musk’s family continues to grow.
While there’s still speculation around whether St. Clair’s claim adds a 13th child to Musk’s count, the billionaire seems to have a steady hand in managing his ever-expanding family.
Musk’s ability to juggle his numerous business ventures, such as Neuralink, SpaceX, and Tesla, alongside his personal life, is certainly a subject of much curiosity.
