Chelsea star Cole Palmer surprises fans by topping poll for the United Kingdom’s sexiest footballer ahead of Jude Bellingham and Cristiano Ronaldo

Footballers are often recognized for their skills on the pitch, but a recent survey set out to determine who is the most attractive player in the UK.

While global superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Jude Bellingham are widely seen as some of the most charismatic figures in the sport, neither managed to claim the top spot in this study.

Instead, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer emerged as the surprise winner, securing 19% of the vote.

The Results—Who Made the List?

The study, conducted by Slotzilla, surveyed 2,500 British adults, considering factors such as physique, charisma, and personal style.

Bellingham, who was recently seen enjoying a game with his girlfriend Ashlyn Castro, came in second with 17% of the vote.

England stars dominated much of the top 10, with Jack Grealish (15%), Declan Rice (12%), Trent Alexander-Arnold (10%), Bukayo Saka (8%), and Marcus Rashford (7%) following closely behind.

Cristiano Ronaldo, despite his legendary status, only managed to secure eighth place with 6% of the votes.

Erling Haaland, known for his towering presence and impressive goal-scoring record, ranked ninth with 4%.

However, he did top the charts in Scotland, where his powerful physique and distinct features stood out.

Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe rounded off the list in tenth place with just 2% of the votes.

A Tough Spell for Palmer on the Pitch

While Palmer is riding high off the pitch with his new title, his recent performances for Chelsea have been challenging.

The England international has been a key figure for the Blues since his £42.5 million transfer from Manchester City in the summer of 2023.

Over the past 18 months, he has racked up an impressive 39 goals and 21 assists, making him one of Chelsea’s most influential players.

However, Palmer is currently experiencing a dip in form.

After Chelsea’s 4-0 victory over Southampton, he took to Instagram to acknowledge his struggles, posting a photo of himself looking dejected alongside the caption: “Well done lads +3. Don’t worry I will be back.”

The 22-year-old has now gone seven games without a goal or assist, an unusual dry spell for the attacking midfielder.
