The iconic Nineties boyband, Five, is officially reuniting after a long 25 years, and they’re bringing all five original members back together for a UK tour later this year.
The band, which dominated the charts in the late 90s, consists of Abz Love (45), Ritchie Neville (45), Scott Robinson (45), Sean Conlon (43), and J Brown (48).
After disbanding in 2001, Five had reunited a few times as a trio, but this marks the return of the full five-piece.
Fans of the group, known for hits like Everybody Get Up, are thrilled to see them back together on stage.
The Upcoming 2025 KEEP ON MOVIN’ Tour
The eagerly awaited KEEP ON MOVIN’ 2025 Tour will kick off in Brighton on Friday, October 31, 2025, and will visit cities across the UK, including Bournemouth, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Aberdeen, and Glasgow.
The band will also perform at London’s iconic The O2 arena.
The group shared their excitement with fans on social media, posting: “It’s true, the five of us are reuniting for a tour across the UK!!” They also expressed their enthusiasm, adding, “It’s been a long time coming and it really does feel right for all of us now – 25 years on, and we’re so ready for it.”
Anticipation Builds as Fans Celebrate the Reunion
The news quickly sparked excitement among fans, who flooded social media with messages of joy and anticipation.
Scott Robinson, speaking about the reunion, said, “This has been a long time coming, and it really does feel right for all of us now – 25 years on, and we’re so ready for it.”
Abz Love also chimed in, saying, “We really can’t wait to get back on stage together and see the fans, it’s gonna go OFF! Buzzing to have Naughty Boy on tour with us too… 5 bad boys and a naughty boy, that sounds like a lot of fun.”
25 Years of Success and Struggles in the Music Industry
This reunion comes 25 years after Five won their first BRIT Award for Best British Pop Act.
The band’s journey to stardom wasn’t without its struggles.
In a documentary Boybands Forever, Scott Robinson opened up about a heated moment with the group’s record label.
“I pinned one of the big cheeses at the record label up against his desk with my foot, crushing him into the wall,” Scott revealed. “
And said, ‘I will fing leave this band, you try and fing stop me.'” The tensions between band members and the industry were evident, with Simon, their manager, admitting they almost had a fistfight, which highlighted the intense pressures of the music business.
Revisiting the Challenges of the Music Industry
Ritchie Neville also discussed the exploitation the group faced during their peak.
Despite selling over 20 million records worldwide, Ritchie explained that the group was underpaid and overworked, receiving just £100 a week at the start of their career.
“We had just two days off in two years while starting out,” Ritchie recalled. “The industry was tough, but we managed to make it through.”
These stories reflect the dark side of the music industry, where young talent can be taken advantage of by those profiting off their success.
The Band’s Lasting Impact and Global Success
Despite the struggles, Five became one of the UK’s most successful boybands of all time.
The group sold over 20 million records globally and charted in more than 20 countries.
Their music continued to resonate with fans, and their songs remain iconic in the pop music scene.
Five made a mark with their distinctive sound and their ability to hit the Top 10 with every one of their 11 singles, including three No.1 hits.
