Folarin Falana professionally and popularly known as “Falz” was born on the 27th of October, 1990. He was born and raised in the local government area of Mushin, Lagos state to dignified, renowned lawyers, the popular “Femi Falana” and Human Rights activist “Funmi Falana”. From research, his family lineage could be traced to Ekiti state, Nigeria.
Falz completed his basic or primary education at St. Leo’s Catholic school, Ikeja, Lagos state and proceeded to his secondary education at Olashore International School, Osun State, Nigeria. He is an alumnus of the University of Reading, England where he graduated with an LLB honors degree in Law.
Falz is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, entertainer, comedian, and actor. He released his first debut album in 2014 titled “wazup guy” and his second album in 2015 titled “stories that touch”
