James Hewitt, the former lover of Princess Diana, has expressed that the late princess would be deeply troubled by the ongoing feud between her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
Hewitt shared his thoughts during an interview on ITV’s Good Morning Britain on February 25, 2025.
When asked by host Richard Madeley about how Diana might have responded to the rift between her sons, Hewitt remarked that Diana, being a mother, would have been deeply concerned and would have done everything in her power to bring them together.

Reflecting on what Diana would have felt, Hewitt said, “I think any mother would be worried and concerned about such a rift, as you put it, and she’d do her best to try and get them together.”
