The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards kicked off with a red carpet full of dazzling stars, but not all of the A-list arrivals nailed their fashion choices.
Hosted by Kristen Bell, the event took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and was streamed live on Netflix, drawing attention for both its glamorous moments and its less-than-stellar fashion fails.
The Fashion Hits and Misses
As the evening unfolded, a handful of celebrities caught everyone’s attention for their stylish looks.
However, there were just as many who didn’t quite hit the mark with their red carpet choices.
With wild ruffles, clashing patterns, and strange shapes, some of Hollywood’s brightest stars had a fashion misstep.
The Worst Dressed Stars of the Night
Leading the fashion fail list was Jamie Lee Curtis, who wore a black sparkly dress adorned with massive feathers on the chest and sleeves.
Unfortunately, the design left much to be desired, landing her a spot among the night’s worst-dressed celebrities.
Close behind was actress Ali Ahn, whose tiered dress featured an enormous piece of fur that resembled a strange plant, leaving many questioning her ensemble.
Sasheer Zamata’s patterned frock was another example of a look that felt chaotic and mismatched.
Eleanor Matsuura, known for her role in The Day of the Jackal, chose a sheer, form-fitting lime green gown that left her undergarments visible.
To make matters worse, she paired it with bright green heels, which didn’t help her cause in the fashion department.
Actress Banita Sandhu also found herself on the worst-dressed list with a metallic frock that had an awkward shape.
TikTok star Anna Sitar walked the carpet in an ill-fitting, low-cut black gown that just didn’t complement her frame.
Ruffles and Odd Shapes
Ruffles were clearly a recurring trend of the night, but not in the most flattering way.
Actresses Monica Padman and Roxy Striar both turned heads with their over-the-top ruffled gowns, raising eyebrows with their choices.
Overall, the event was a mixed bag of stunning looks and fashion disasters, leaving the fashion world buzzing about what was right—and wrong—on the red carpet.
