The event, which was promoted on Instagram, quickly spiraled out of control.

When the Met Police finally intervened, sirens sent the unruly crowd scattering.

By the time order was restored, a police vehicle had been damaged, and several items were stolen from inside.

Two boys under 16 were arrested and later bailed, but the incident left many questioning the effectiveness of law enforcement in the capital.

Crimewave Leaves Cyclists Terrified

Beyond viral stunts, a much graver issue looms over London—violent bike thefts.

Cyclists, especially in Regent’s Park, have found themselves under siege by armed thieves.
