Pinky Gumede Threatens Moja Love with Legal Action Over Unpaid Dues for Upcoming Reality Show About Mampintsha in South Africa

Pinky Gumede Threatens Moja Love with Legal Action Over Unpaid Dues for Upcoming Reality Show About Mampintsha in South Africa

Pinky Gumede, the sister of late Kwaito star Mampintsha (born Mandla Maphumulo), is making headlines after expressing her anger over unpaid compensation for an upcoming reality show.

In a dramatic move, she has warned Moja Love that she will take legal action if she doesn’t receive what she believes she is owed.

Demand for Payment on New Show

The reality show titled Wena Wodumo is scheduled to air on Moja Love in March, exploring the life of the late Mampintsha and his family.

Produced by renowned TV producers Thomas Gumede and Lungile Radu, under their company Parental Advisory Production, the show is set to premiere on March 29 on channel 157.

Despite the excitement surrounding the show’s debut, Pinky Gumede has made it clear that she will not tolerate being left out of the financial loop.

She claims that she hasn’t been paid for her involvement and has threatened to take action if the show is aired without the payment she believes she deserves.

Allegations of Mistreatment and Unpaid Work

Gumede alleges that the production company behind the show has a history of mistreating her family, specifically with uThando Lodumo, another show they worked on together.

According to Pinky, they were promised compensation but were badly underpaid and had to fight to receive what was owed.

“We shot two seasons with them, and we were badly paid.

Even then, we were ill-treated, and we had to fight for our money,” she shared, describing the frustrating experience.

After Mampintsha’s passing, Gumede claims she was approached again by the production company for season 3, but her family initially refused the offer.

However, after assurances and promises from the production company, they reluctantly agreed to participate in the new season.

No Signed Contract and Surprise Trailer

One of Pinky’s major grievances is that no formal contract was ever signed for the new show.

She claims that when she asked for the necessary paperwork, she was told to “relax” and was never given the contracts to review.

Her frustration reached a new level when she unexpectedly found a trailer for the show online, further fueling her desire to take action.

“I will not stop demanding money. I also want my mother’s money; if they fail to pay me, I’ll sue them,” she declared, adding that she is also seeking compensation for her mother’s unpaid dues.

What Do You Think of Pinky’s Allegations?

Pinky Gumede’s accusations are raising questions about the fairness of the production company’s dealings with her and her family.
