“We have the story but giving the Club their 48hrs to address their fans on the matter. Otherwise, we will,” Marawa said on social media platform X.

On a brighter note for the Pirates, Tshegofatso Mabasa was the star of the show in their Nedbank Cup victory over Baroka FC.
Mabasa scored a stunning hat trick, which led his team to a 3-0 win in the last 16 of the competition.
Speaking after the match, Mabasa expressed his satisfaction with the result, stating, “Really great result for us today, you know, great way for us to bounce back.
I think we needed to show such a performance especially after our previous game [a 4-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns].”
Mabasa continued to emphasize the need for the team to stay focused, saying, “We need to pick up our heads and fight, there’s a lot of points to fight for and a lot of cups to fight for, so this is what we always want to do – go all the way in each and every cup competition.”
He also highlighted the strength of the team, “This is a big team, with quality players and a good technical team, and like I said, we want to go all the way in each and every competition and hopefully win it.”
