A disturbing video has surfaced showing a man hurling racist remarks at fellow passengers on a London to Sheffield train.
The footage, shared on social media, captured the man filming a woman while launching into an aggressive tirade about immigration.
Heated Rant Caught on Camera
The man, who appeared to be swaying and holding a tin, accused passengers of being “in cahoots” with immigrants.
He claimed that if they weren’t benefiting from something, they wouldn’t be in England but instead living in their countries of origin.
His rant continued as he demanded answers from those around him, saying, “Tell me the truth of how you belong here. I pay my taxes, I give to the NHS… give me a f*****g break.”
Bizarre Claims About England’s History
In an attempt to justify his beliefs, the man launched into a speech about England’s colonial past.
“We conquered the world and then gave it back because we didn’t want it,” he proclaimed.
He referenced India specifically, stating that England had conquered it and then returned it.
His words were met with visible discomfort from other passengers.
Disturbing Comment Shocks Onlookers
As tensions escalated, the video ended with the man making an unsettling remark: “I am not going to hit you.
I have a girl here who loves to get hit and she isn’t getting hit right now.”
The comment left passengers in shock, with many reacting angrily to his behavior.
Social Media Backlash
The woman who posted the video described her experience, explaining that the incident began simply because she mentioned working with immigrants.
“Posting this resulted in receiving some of the worst racism I’ve ever experienced—literally slurs I didn’t even know existed,” she wrote.
While some users flooded the comments with hateful rhetoric, many others voiced support and encouraged her to report the man to authorities.
Another Train Incident Days Earlier
This incident came just days after another racist confrontation was caught on camera.
On an Avanti West Coast train from London to Manchester, a woman was filmed telling an NHS dentist to “go back to your own country.”
The dentist, who recorded the exchange, clarified that he was born in the UK.
However, the woman retorted, “It doesn’t look like it,” and refused to answer whether she was British herself.
Police Investigation Underway
British Transport Police have since become involved in both incidents.
Officers responded to reports of racial abuse on the Euston to Manchester train, meeting the train at Stoke railway station and identifying individuals connected to the altercation.
Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with further information to come forward.
