Kanye West is no longer on Twitter, and it seems like Elon Musk made sure of that.
The rapper, known for his erratic social media rants, had been posting a string of offensive comments that included anti-Semitic, misogynistic, and racist remarks.
After taking aim at his longtime rival Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl, West thanked Musk for giving him a platform to speak his mind.
However, that didn’t last long, as Musk later confirmed that Kanye’s account was classified as NSFW and would no longer be visible to the public.
A Three-Day Rant Comes to an End
For days, Kanye had been flooding Twitter with controversial statements, leading many to call for action against him.
His final tweet on Sunday night read, “I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent.”
He went on to describe the experience as cathartic, comparing it to a hallucinogenic trip, and signing off with, “Love all of you who gave me the energy and attention.
To we connect again. Good afternoon and goodnight.”
The Taylor Swift Drama Continues
Kanye didn’t hold back when addressing Taylor Swift, questioning why she was given the spotlight during the Super Bowl while supposedly singing a song that “takes a Black man down.”
This seemed to be a reference to Swift enjoying Kendrick Lamar’s diss track against Drake at the Grammys.
But Kanye didn’t just criticize Swift—he also claimed Kendrick Lamar was being used by “white people and Jews,” grouping himself in as a supposed victim of the same forces.
A Bizarre Super Bowl Ad
If his Twitter meltdown wasn’t enough, Kanye also aired a strange Super Bowl commercial for his Yeezy brand.
The low-budget ad, filmed on his iPhone, appeared to be shot in a dentist’s office.
He claimed he had to use his phone because he spent his entire ad budget on new teeth.
The clip featured Kanye mumbling, then directing viewers to visit Yeezy.com.
Clashing with Elon Musk
Kanye also took aim at Elon Musk, responding to a user who called the Tesla CEO a Nazi.
This comes after Musk faced accusations of making a Nazi salute at a Trump event—allegations he denied.
Kanye fueled the controversy by tweeting, “SINCE IM GETTING KICKED OFF TWITTER SOON. EVERYBODY IS A NAZI TILL A REAL NAZI PULLS UP.”
He also claimed that Musk was limiting his Twitter reach to prevent him from trending during the Super Bowl.
Moving to Discord?
As Twitter cracked down on his account, Kanye suggested he would move to Discord instead.
“I AM SETTING UP A DISCORD CHANNEL ON MY WEBSITE … WELCOME TO AMERICA,” he announced.
Meanwhile, Milo Yiannopoulos, who manages Kanye and his partner Bianca Censori, confirmed that West had deactivated his account voluntarily, stating, “We just want to be clear he deactivated and was not banned.”
Kanye’s Other Targets
Before leaving Twitter, Kanye made remarks about several other celebrities, including Travis Scott, R. Kelly, and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
He also commented on rapper Kodak Black, saying he saw a video of him looking unwell while wearing a Donda chain.
Interpreting this as a sign, Kanye said he planned to fly to Florida to check on him.
The Never-Ending Feud with Taylor Swift
Kanye’s latest jab at Swift is just another chapter in their long history of conflict.
Their feud began at the 2009 MTV VMAs when Kanye infamously interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech, declaring that Beyoncé deserved the award instead.
While they seemed to patch things up in later years, things reignited in 2016 when Kanye released the song “Famous,” in which he referred to Swift in a derogatory manner.
Swift denied ever approving the lyrics, leading to a messy public fallout with Kanye and Kim Kardashian, who later leaked a call between Swift and West.
Kanye Addresses His Mental State
Amid all the controversy, Kanye posted a video reassuring fans that he was mentally stable.
“I know you’re all thinking I’m going through something right now,” he said, appearing groggy.
“I wouldn’t want nobody to do an intervention on me.”
Despite the backlash, he remained firm in his stance, saying, “I got my ideas out; that’s all that happened, and that was very freeing for me.”
Twitter Adds a Warning to His Account
Before his account was deactivated, Twitter flagged Kanye’s profile with a warning label, cautioning users about “potentially sensitive content.”
In response, Kanye sarcastically urged Musk to let him stay on the platform, tweeting, “AS I TWEET IN CODE WORDS AND KISS ELON’S A** AND BEG HIM TO NOT CANCEL MY ACCOUNT.”
What’s Next for Kanye?
With his Twitter account gone, it remains unclear where Kanye will take his social media rants next.
Will he make Discord his new home? Or will he find another platform to share his unfiltered thoughts?
For now, all eyes are on what his next move will be.
