The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a new video showcasing a series of drone strikes aimed at Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in the Kursk region.
The footage, shared on the ministry’s official Telegram channel, highlights the growing role of drones in modern warfare.
Over a Dozen Attacks Carried Out by Russian FPV Drones
According to the ministry, the video features 11 separate attacks executed by FPV drone operators from Russia’s 11th Airborne Brigade.
While the exact locations and dates of the strikes were not disclosed, officials claim that each operation successfully hit its intended target.
The footage underscores the increasing reliance on unmanned aerial systems to carry out precise strikes in conflict zones.
Previous Attacks on Ukrainian Fortifications Also Released
This isn’t the first time the ministry has shared evidence of military action in the region.
Just days earlier, they released another video showing Russian forces targeting and destroying fortified Ukrainian positions in the Kursk area.
That attack, reportedly carried out using 122-mm towed D-30 howitzers, resulted in several direct hits followed by explosions.
The Growing Role of Drones in the Conflict
With drones becoming a key weapon in both reconnaissance and attack missions, their presence in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to grow.
These latest videos highlight how drone warfare is shaping the battlefield, allowing forces to strike with precision while minimizing direct engagement.
