A Glimpse Into Their Relationship

Siya and Rachel’s relationship has evolved over time.

The couple met in 2012, married, and spent eight years together before announcing their separation in October 2024.

They shared the news with fans in a joint statement that emphasized their mutual respect and love for one another.

The statement read: “After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage.

This decision comes from a place of love, respect, and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us.

While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known.”

Despite their split, Rachel remains close to Siya’s two younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, whom they adopted as children.

A week before Siya’s post, Rachel shared a heartwarming video of their kids at their first-ever swimming gala.

She proudly documented the event, writing: “Some of my week in pictures: Babies first ever gala!” It was another sign of the loving co-parenting relationship between Rachel and Siya, as they continue to support their kids together.
