On the show, she was asked by Burleson if she ever pulls away from guests who have bad breath during those up-close moments.

She responded with humor, saying, “All I’m thinking about is ‘How’s my breath?'” The actress reassured viewers that so far, none of her guests have had bad breath during these intimate exchanges, adding, “I am like pupil to pupil and nobody has had bad breath.”

She also admitted that she can’t control her urge to lean in.

“I don’t know, I can’t actually control it,” Barrymore confessed.

“We did focus groups when The Drew Barrymore Show launched, and it was awful.” Despite previous attempts to create more space, she hasn’t had much success.

” She further explained, “I think Martha really does like me.

She added that when she first met Stewart, she wasn’t sure if the feeling was mutual.

“But I think I broke through… and she doesn’t dislike me.”

‘ And I’m like, ‘Why?'” She expressed her love for physical connection, especially in a world where she feels we could all be more comfortable with touch.

“I think if we could all be more comfortable with physical touch, I would like that world,” she said, highlighting her naturally warm and affectionate personality.
