Sheffield Teenager Charged with the Murder of 15-Year-Old Harvey Willgoose Following Stabbing at All Saints Catholic High School

A tragic incident has rocked the city of Sheffield, where a 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of his schoolmate, Harvey Willgoose, who was fatally stabbed at All Saints Catholic High School.

The attack, which occurred on Monday, February 3, has left the community in shock.

A Day of Chaos at All Saints Catholic High School

The emergency services arrived at the school around 12:17 PM after reports of the stabbing.

Upon arrival, they were met with a scene of chaos, with classrooms locked down and the school grounds closed off.

Harvey Willgoose, who had sustained serious injuries, was quickly rushed to the hospital.

Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was tragically confirmed dead from his injuries just before 4:00 PM that afternoon.

The Charges Against the 15-Year-Old Suspect

Chris Hartley, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor for the CPS Yorkshire and Humberside, confirmed that the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has reviewed the case and authorized charges against the 15-year-old boy.

He has been charged with the murder of Harvey Willgoose, as well as possession of a bladed article and one count of affray.

Hartley emphasized the importance of upholding the defendant’s right to a fair trial and reminded the public to avoid sharing information online that could potentially impact the legal process.

The first hearing in this case is set to take place on Wednesday, February 5, at Sheffield Youth Court.
