In a stunning turn of events, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks have reportedly agreed to a blockbuster trade involving two major NBA stars—Anthony Davis and Luka Dončić.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, this trade will see Davis, along with a 2029 first-round pick and Max Christie, head to the Mavericks, while Dončić, Maxi Kleber, and Markieff Morris will be heading to the Lakers.
Jazz Get Involved in the Deal
Adding even more complexity to the trade, the Utah Jazz are also part of this deal.
They will receive Jalen Hood-Schifino from the Lakers, along with a 2025 second-round pick from the Mavericks and another 2025 second-round pick from the Lakers.
