Kennedy, a longtime friend of Rodgers, has been nominated by President-elect Trump to serve as the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
This role requires Senate confirmation before Kennedy can officially assume office.
Rodgers Ready to See Kennedy Face Off with Senators
Rodgers, who was reportedly approached by Kennedy to be his running mate during RFK Jr.’s presidential bid, recently appeared on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’
He expressed excitement for the upcoming confirmation hearing, especially at the prospect of seeing Kennedy hold his own against skeptical senators.
“I can’t wait to watch it,” Rodgers said.
“If anyone tries to challenge him, it’s going to be fun to watch him wipe the floor with them.”
Rodgers continued by praising Kennedy’s intellect and preparedness.
“Bobby’s incredibly smart, and he doesn’t need notes—he’s just off the cuff,” Rodgers said.
“He can handle himself really well, so I’m excited to see him shine. Honestly, everyone should be.”
Kennedy’s Controversial Health Views

The levels of carcinogens in food and products that are deemed safe—it’s appalling.”

Rodgers believes Kennedy’s mission to improve public health is an important one.
He emphasized that Kennedy’s focus is on ensuring that the food and products we consume are safe, particularly for children.
“He just wants to make sure that everything we’re giving our kids is safe, that everything we’re consuming daily is safe,” Rodgers explained.
“If people would just let him do his thing, it would be a service to everyone.”
