Kaizer Chiefs Consider Loaning Fiacre Ntwari Amid Goalkeeper Changes and Pursuit of Toaster Nsabata in 2025

Kaizer Chiefs have recently thrown fans a curveball by considering a surprising change that seemed unlikely just a few months ago.

The club is reportedly weighing the option of loaning out goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, just five months after he joined the team.

Fiacre Ntwari’s Short Stint at Amakhosi

Fiacre Ntwari, a 24-year-old Burundian goalkeeper, made his way to Kaizer Chiefs in August 2024 from TS Galaxy.

Initially, he held the number-one spot but faced some challenges.

A couple of mistakes and an injury during international duty in November 2024 saw him lose his place.

Now, reports suggest that Chiefs are looking at loaning Ntwari out to make room for Zambia’s Toaster Nsabata, with the latter being a key target for the club.

A Potential Move for Toaster Nsabata

Kaizer Chiefs have recognized a weakness in their goalkeeper department and are reportedly in talks to bring in Toaster Nsabata, the Zambia national team goalkeeper.

The club is looking to strengthen this position and, in order to do so, they need to make space.

If they pursue Nsabata, the current plan is to either loan or release one of their goalkeepers, with Ntwari being the one under consideration.

However, it’s still uncertain whether this move will happen in January or at the end of the current season.
