Duchess Sarah Ferguson Reflects on Her Christmas Preparations and Family Bonding as She Spends Time with Princess Eugenie and Grandchildren in Windsor

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, recently shared an adorable video on TikTok showing her enjoying the Christmas countdown with her daughter, Princess Eugenie, and her grandsons.

The sweet clip, posted over the weekend, captures a festive moment at Windsor Great Park, where Sarah, affectionately known as “Fergie,” is seen riding a carousel on a giant rooster.

She’s joined by Eugenie and her two young sons, August and Ernest, as they take in the sparkling holiday lights.

In the video, Sarah enthusiastically talks about her fun day, saying, “I’m at Windsor Park illuminated, and I’m with my grandchildren and my daughter.

I’m having the best day. Saturday afternoon in the dark. And I’m on a giant rooster.”

The warmth of the moment is evident, with Eugenie laughing in the background as she watches her mother enjoy the ride.

Christmas Traditions with the Grandchildren

Sarah’s holiday preparations are already in full swing.

As a proud grandmother, she revealed how she plans to spoil her grandchildren with plenty of sweets, toys, and treats this Christmas.

She has four grandchildren: Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna, and stepson, Wolfie, along with Princess Eugenie’s sons, August and Ernest.

Sharing her excitement for the season of giving, Sarah said, “Grannies exist to spoil their grandchildren, don’t they? I’ll be stuffing their stockings with sweets, toys, and treats. I think I’m as excited as they are.”

She’s organized well in advance, always on the lookout for special gifts throughout the year to ensure everything is ready long before Christmas Eve.

“I plan a long way ahead. I spot things I think people would like throughout the year and stash them away.

Every year I also like to get special baubles made for everyone’s tree,” Sarah added, showing just how much thought she puts into her family’s holiday traditions.

A Festive Christmas with Friends and Charity Work

Although Sarah will enjoy Christmas with her loved ones, she’s also dedicated to giving back during the holiday season.

As a passionate humanitarian, she supports various charities, including the Big Give, which raises funds for cancer research, and Prevent Breast Cancer, a cause close to her heart due to her own experience with the illness.

The Duchess also revealed that she would spend Christmas as usual with friends and family, enjoying some downtime while supporting charitable causes.

Fergie’s Social Media Journey

In a new digital chapter, Sarah made waves earlier this year by joining TikTok, becoming the first member of the royal family to do so.

Under the handle @sarahtheduchess, she shared a moving video about her cancer journey.

Sarah, who lives in the Royal Lodge at Windsor Park, continues to embrace new forms of connection with her followers.

She has also been in the holiday spirit, taking trips to Vienna and Sydney to immerse herself in festive cheer and promote her latest book, A Woman of Intrigue.

Sarah’s journey through the season has been filled with adventure and joy, from bustling airports to book signings in far-flung destinations.

Family Drama Behind the Scenes

While Sarah enjoys her holidays, her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, is embroiled in a public family dispute.

The King recently cut off his brother’s funding, stopping payments for Andrew’s £3 million-a-year security bill and suggesting he move into more modest accommodations.

Despite this, Andrew has been allowed to stay in Windsor, where it’s rumored that the funds for his living situation are coming from a legitimate source, although the exact details remain unclear.

As Sarah celebrates the festive season with her family, the royal family faces its own challenges, though Fergie remains a positive and warm presence in the midst of it all.
