A disturbing scene unfolded on a flight from Moscow to Surgut on November 8, as a woman, heavily intoxicated, became violent in front of her young daughter.

The chaos began when the woman lashed out at a flight attendant, attacking her in front of the child.

As if that wasn’t enough, she continued her disruptive behavior after landing, even turning on the police officers who tried to arrest her, causing her daughter to cry in distress.

The Incident Unfolds

The mother, whose identity has not been released, was reportedly returning from a holiday with her four-year-old daughter.

According to Russian authorities, she was visibly drunk and directed foul language at the cabin crew throughout the flight.

Her actions sparked concern, especially as they took place in front of her child, who was understandably upset by the entire ordeal.

Legal Repercussions

Following her arrest, the woman faced serious charges.

She was booked for petty hooliganism, violating air transport conduct rules, and neglecting her parental duties.

Irina Volk, a spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), confirmed that the woman had been detained by officers in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (Yugra).

According to the authorities, the flight crew had documented her misconduct, and police were waiting for her when the plane landed.

Previous Offenses

This wasn’t the first time the woman had faced legal trouble.

Records show that in 2015, she was charged under Articles 318 and 319 of the Russian Criminal Code.

She also had a conviction for causing grievous bodily harm by negligence in 2023.

Furthermore, her history includes multiple administrative penalties for failing to properly care for her daughter.
