Known for his impressive career and his 1999 Champions League victory with Manchester United, Beckham made a dramatic entrance.
Initially, he appeared on a giant screen through a video link, and former Manchester City defender Richards couldn’t contain his enthusiasm, shouting, “David, my hero!”
A Sneaky Surprise
While Richards and the team were engrossed in the screen, Beckham made a sneaky entrance from the other side of the studio.
The moment was priceless: Carragher’s jaw dropped in surprise, and Richards, overwhelmed, jumped up to embrace Beckham. Richards then remarked, “What a guy! You still smell lovely.”

Beckham took his place between Henry and Richards, who couldn’t stop praising him.
“I’m looking at his style, the suit is fresh,” Richards gushed.

Beckham shared that each edition of his altcast will feature a different celebrity friend.
“I love watching the game, and I enjoy it most with my kids or friends,” Beckham explained.
“So, it’ll be like a watch party where I’m commenting on the games, sometimes chatting about football, and sometimes just enjoying the moment with friends.”
