Meanwhile, political stakeholders in Nigeria’s south-eastern region have stated that if the people of Nigeria allow them to produce the country’s president in 2023, they will put an end to the country’s agitations.
They’ve always argued that the president in 2023 should be allocated to the South East.
They have urged famous Nigerians to run for the president of the Igbo in 2023.
Leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Edwin Clark have said that he will support the former Senate President of Nigeria if the South Easterners fails to produce any Presidential candidate in 2023
This was a press statement issued by Edwin Clerk when the Abubakar Bukola Saraki’ s Contact and Advocacy Council, visited him in Abuja as recorded and published by Vanguard News, Daily Post and other news platforms in Nigeria.
While delivering his speech, he said that he will be in total support of Bukola Saraki if the South Easterners fails to produce any presidential candidate in 2023 and maintained that Saraki will be the best for Nigeria.
” I will support Bukola Saraki if the South Easterners fails to produce any presidential candidate in 2023 and maintained that Saraki will be the best for Nigeria” .
Continuing with his speech, he said that he will support Saraki if the political stakeholders from South East did not produce any presidential candidate in 2023 and maintained that Saraki will become a good President in Nigeria.
We have been agitating for the presidency to be zoned to the south.
However, if we fail to come up with a consensus candidate in the South, I will have no option but to support Dr Bukola Saraki.
I will support Saraki to become the President of Nigeria because he will the best President.
In a similar development, he thanked Saraki for the effectiveness of his administration when he was the Senate President of Nigeria.
I thank you(Saraki) for the best political skills that you adopted when you were the Senate President of Nigeria because your administration brought allot of political development in Nigeria.
Your administration is one of best political administrations in Nigeria.
