NMDC achieves record profits of AED1 billion in 2021

ABU DHABI, 27th January, 2022 – The National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) achieved record profits in 2021, totalling AED1 billion, eight times the previous figure.

This achievement further enhances the company’s global leadership among major international companies in the engineering, supply, and marine drilling sectors.

In 2021, the company completed 72 projects and won another 17 projects in the UAE and worldwide.

The values of the company’s current contracts in eight regions, including the GCC region, Middle East, Egypt, North Africa, India, Maldives, Seychelles, East Asia and Europe, exceeded AED40 billion.

At the end of 2021, the company’s assets increased by 75 percent to AED12.

3 billion, while its total revenues increased by 78 percent to AED7.

889 billion, compared to 2020 revenues amounting to AED4.

426 billion.

The profit on the company’s share was AED1.

26 in 2021, compared to AED0.
