NSCDC arrests 3 for dealing in adulterated petrol in Osun

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has detained three men in Osun State for allegedly trafficking in contaminated petroleum products.

The suspects paraded by the state’s NSCDC Commandant, Emmanuel Ocheja, at the Corps headquarters in Osogbo have been named as Adeyeye Emmauel, Nasiru Adamu, and Isa Mohammed. The three suspects were apprehended with 19 jerricans with 25 liters of tainted petrol at Ibodi junction in Ilesa.

The suspects however denied the allegation.
Ocheja said the suspects would be charged to court to serve as a deterrent to others.
