Benue: Army Chief presents vehicle Regimental Sergent Major

As part of efforts to motivate Army personnel, the Chief of Army Staff, COAS Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya has presented a brand new Toyota Hilux vehicle to Army Warrant Officer, AWO Ajao Adetona.

Ajao Adetona is the Regimental Sergeant Major, RSM, Nigerian Army School of Artillery, Kachina, Benue State.

Presenting the vehicle on behalf of the COAS, the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Artillery, Major General Robert Sinjen congratulated AWO Adetona.

He said the presentation of the vehicle aimed at restoring the reputation associated with the office of an RSM, in line with the customs, ethos and traditions of the Nigerian Army.

He said that the gesture would also boost the morale of Master Warrant Officers serving in the NA.

He thanked the COAS for extending his magnanimity to AWO Ajao who recently retired as the RSM NASA.

The Army Warrant Officer Ajao Adetona expressed gratitude to the COAS for finding him worthy to be a recipient and pledged to put the vehicle to proper use.

The vehicle presentation is in furtherance of activities that marked the just concluded 2022 Armed Forces and Remembrance Day Celebration.
