Notable stars in contention for the Leading Actress award include Anjana Vasan for Black Mirror, Anne Reid in The Sixth Commandment, and Bella Ramsey for The Last Of Us.

The Leading Actor category features prominent names like Brian Cox for Succession, Dominic West for The Crown, and Kane Robinson for Top Boy.

Notably, Steve Coogan’s nomination for his portrayal of Jimmy Savile in The Reckoning sparked controversy due to the sensitive subject matter. Despite the acclaim for Coogan’s performance, the series faced backlash for its portrayal of the notorious presenter.
