RAK Ruler meets South Korean President

RAS AL KHAIMAH, 17th January 2022 – H.

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, met today with Moon Jae-in, President of South Korea, at Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of H.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah.

Sheikh Saud welcomed President Moon and his delegation, who are currently visiting the UAE, and highlighted the deep-rooted relations between the UAE and South Korea, as well as their solid strategic partnership, most notably in the health sector.

RAK Ruler emphasised the two sides’ keenness on exploring more opportunities of growth and prosperity.

Sheikh Saud and President Moon then toured the hospital and explored the leading health services it offers.

The hospital, opened in Ras Al Khaimah in 2015, is managed by Seoul National University Hospital.

It specialises in treating cancer, heart conditions, paediatric care, rehabilitation and neurological disorders, and employs many healthcare professionals from South Korea.
