Saudi MoH reports 5,281 new cases of COVID-19, and 2,996 recoveries

RIYADH, 15th January, 2022 – The Saudi Ministry of Health (MoH) reported 5,281 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 2,996 recoveries in the past 24 hours.

In a statement, MoH said that the infection tally in the Kingdom reached 609,953, while the recovery tally amounted to 561,542, adding that the critical cases hit 310, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The statement reported two deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the Kingdom to 8,905.
