India logs 247,417 new coronavirus cases, highest since May

NEW DELHI, 13th January, 2022 – India reported 247,417 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, the most since late May, taking the overall coronavirus cases to 36.

The country reported 380 deaths overnight, taking the overall tally to 485,035 fatalities, Reuters reported.
