Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain witnesses signing of Phase I of Al Sinniyah Island Development Project

UMM AL QAIWAIN, 28th December, 2021 – H.

Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Chairman of the Executive Council, witnessed this morning the signing of a contract to launch Phase I of the Al Sinniyah Island development project in Umm Al Quwain, by constructing and completing a bridge to connect the island with Al Ittihad Road, at a cost of AED300,000,000 .

The launch contract was signed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of Umm Al Quwain’s Department of Finance, and Rami Zaid, Director of BATCO Company in Umm Al Quwain.

Umm Al Quwain Properties will undertake all the tasks of the project, which aims in its first phase to provide a direct link between Al Sinniyah Island and Al Ittihad Rd.

The scope of work consists of the construction of a dual main road of three lanes in each direction with a total length of 2.

5 km and a design speed of 100 km per hour, as well as the construction of an arch bridge over sea with an approximate length of 1 km.
