Cracking Down on Noise Pollution: LASEPA’s Actions
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has taken a strong stance against noise pollution and other environmental infractions.
In an effort to address these issues, LASEPA has sealed off several establishments in the Alimosho area, including religious centers, hotels, an eatery, and a bar.
This proactive approach aims to combat the identified instances of noise pollution and other environmental transgressions.
Securing a Major Investment for the Fourth Mainland Bridge
Lagos State has secured a substantial $1.3 billion investment for the construction of the Fourth Mainland Bridge, marking a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure development.
This achievement is the result of a collaborative effort between Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the African Export-Import Bank, and Access Bank.
Partnership for a Brighter Future
Governor Sanwo-Olu formalized this momentous agreement during the second Africaribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2023 in Georgetown, Guyana.
This investment of $1.352 billion will play a vital role in realizing crucial projects, including the Fourth Mainland Bridge, the Omu Creek Project, and the second phase of the LRMT Blue Line.
The governor’s commitment to shaping a brighter future for Lagos is evident in these initiatives, which are expected to stimulate economic growth and create a lasting legacy for future generations.
