Billboard has reported that Jennifer Lopez, also known as J.Lo, has inked a new recording and publishing agreement with BMG.
The exclusive announcement of this partnership was made on September 11th.
Under this global alliance, her forthcoming album titled “This Is Me…Now” will be released through Nuyorican/BMG.
The album comprises 13 tracks.
A Nine-Year Solo Studio Album
Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming album marks her return as a solo performer after nine years, following her 2014 release, “A.K.A.,” on Capitol Records.
“A.K.A.,” produced by RedOne, achieved a peak position at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In 2022, Lopez and Maluma collaborated on the “Marry Me” soundtrack, which was released through Universal Studios/Sony Music US Latin.
Collaborative Production Efforts
“This Is Me…Now” was crafted between 2022 and 2023, with Jennifer Lopez taking on a production role along with Rogét Chahayed, Angel Lopez, and Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman in her Los Angeles home studio.
The album also features contributions from a roster of esteemed songwriter-producers, including Hitboy, Ink, Tay Keith, Yeti Beats, Carter Lang, and Kim “Kaydence” Krysiuk.
BMG’s Brandon Riester served as the album’s A&R.
