DJ Chicken Expresses Disappointment with Headies Awards Outcome

Nigerian entertainer DJ Chicken, known for his controversial views, recently voiced his disappointment regarding the results of the 16th Headies Awards.

Specifically, he directed his disappointment towards the famous singer Portable, who failed to receive recognition during the ceremony.

Zazuh Zeh’s Disqualification and Omission from Nominees List

Notably, in the previous year, Zazuh Zeh, a nominee, received two nominations but was subsequently disqualified for making threats of violence towards his co-nominees if he didn’t win.

This year, Zazuh Zeh found himself excluded from the list of nominees, alongside notable artists like Wizkid.

The award ceremony took place on Sunday, September 5th, in Atlanta, Georgia, and DJ Chicken didn’t hold back in expressing his frustration.

DJ Chicken’s Critique on Portable

Taking to his Instagram page, DJ Chicken openly expressed his disdain for Portable, who neither secured a nomination nor won an award.

In a live video, DJ Chicken ruthlessly taunted Portable, claiming that his fame had dwindled and that his daily earnings exceeded the value of Portable’s house in Ogun State.

Additionally, DJ Chicken criticized Portable for accusing Shallipopi, a fellow artist, of being involved in internet fraud (Yahoo boy) and even suggested that if Portable believed it to be easy, he should attempt internet fraud himself.

DJ Chicken’s scathing remarks have sparked significant attention among fans and followers of both artists.
