A Frontline Industrialist, Dr Godwin Okafor has expressed optimism that Anambra State will witness more transformation under Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
Speaking to the ABS at the Agu Awka Industrial layout on the declaration of Professor Soludo as winner of the November sixth Anambra State Governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, Dr Okafor stated that the Governor-elect Will deploy his local and international connections to the governance of the State.
Dr Okafor who described the election that produced Professor Soludo as the next Governor of Anambra State as most credible, charged all those that contested with him in the election to join hands in moving the state to a greater height.
He Commended President Mohammadu Buhari and Governor Willie Obiano for providing an enabling environment for the smooth conduct of the election, and called on the people to take full ownership of the Nation’s Electoral process.
Dr Okafor who is a community leader in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area called on the people of the state to see Anambra development as a collective responsibility.
On Industrialization, Dr Okafor canvassed for the establishment of Industrial Parks in the State, for speedy Industrial growth.
He Commended Governor Willie Obiano for all his Industrial friendly policies, especially the construction of the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport Umueri, among others and expressed the hope that the Governor elect will continue with APGA policies, as a tested and trusted Economist.
